And the JFactor 2009 winner is....Fallon Fraser

More updates - pics, blogs, videos etc. to come. Let's know your thoughts - Comment below!!

The frenzy is over, the lights are out and the dust has settled. Yet, Saturday 26th September 2009 will be a night to remember. On this night, at Jesus House, Brent Cross, 8 superstars took to the stage to wow crowds of over 500 people and perform before 4 well established judges. The prize? - a recording single with Rockhill music.
The battle was tough, the contestants fought hard, but only one star claimed the title 'JFactor 2009'. The star? - the one and only Fallon Fraser. A 24 year old British Caribbean who sounds like Eryka Badu and is inspired by the likes of Lisa McClendon. As she claimed the prize after a fierce battle against Bim Amoako-Gyampah (another star in her own right), she dedicated the prize to her LORD and gave the tesimony of how her feet got ordred to JFactor. A heart wrenching story of a near death experience, one that that brought tears to the eyes of all. If you missed the show or just want to experience it all over again - no doubt you will, stay tuned for further info on how to get the DVD and more updates (pics, photos & more). 9.10pm - The Show began with a blast!!

People piled outside the door funnily enough everyone was early. At about 7 we let everyone in there was so much anxiety in the air.

We had a sensational start with Matthew Charlerly Smith followed by beautiful performance by Fola Kush. Then we had an ecclectic performance by Fallon and then Bim raised the roof.

The first round ended with a performance by Matthew Lee Hunter to which the female judge Michelle McKinney Hammond said "there's nothing more sexy than a man singing - Lord consume me". To this, Pastor Shola replied, you are not allowed to use the word sexy in church and Michelle came back with "the Lord created it and the devil perverted it.."

The JFactor audience voted while the votes were being counted, Tito performed his single Supermanto a roaring audience. The host - Mark De-Lisser is indulging the audience with a sing-off involving the kids in the audience, he earlier discovered a 12 year old singing sensation in the audience who won the crowd over with her mature delivery of Mariah Carey's hit song Hero.

Semi-Finalists have been announced!!!

The first contestant put through to the second round was Bim, the next contestant to be announced was Fallon, followed by Matthew Lee Hunter and then Uduak.

Bim started off the second round with a lovely rendition of Cece Winans Alabaster Box which received positive feedback from all the judges. Fallon followed with You Can - Michelle will "love to work with her!". Matthew sang Is He Not ,this time without his guitar. Roy Francis (the judge who has been coined the "Simon Cowell" of the panel) said he preferred his first performance. Uduak gave a very soulful version of Nicole C Mullen's When I Call on Jesus. All the judges preferred this performance to her first round performance.

The votes will be counted, and the final two contestants will go head to head in the ultimate final to determine who will win the JFactor 2009! Seat tight cuz this will be EPIC!!!

And the FINALISTS...

Michelle Mckinney Hammond takes to the stage to speak to the final four contestants. "You are ALL winners" she says, but not in the trite way that is the custom in most talent contests. By coming this far, the JFactor contestants have proclaimed to the world that they will share the gift that God bestowed on them.

The house lights are dimmed, the audience is hushed, and the mood is very still... It is time for the finalists to be announced. The only movement in the room is Mark, the host - the only one who knows... He announces - FALLON! The audience go mad in applause! Back to Mark, "And - BIM!" Massive uproar from the audience ensues!

Uduak and Matthew are congratulated and led off the stage. Bim takes to the stage to perform the Rockhill-produced finalists song Until That Day Comes. Fallon takes to the stage immediately after to render her version of the same song.

Another round of voting by the audience to determine who will be the next JFactor winner.

AND THE WINNER IS...

Without further a-do, the winner of JFactor 2009 is announced. And the winner is -

FALLON!!!
